Mammoths Ellie and Manny are having a baby, which makes sloth Sid feel broody. Stealing three dinosaur eggs and hatching the chicks is not his brightest idea. Acceptable family fare, although the interludes with the acorn-chasing squirrel are beginning to wear out their welcome.

A continuation of THE MELTDOWN, life begins to change for the ICE AGE creatures.
